Photo: It’s the New Blue Jays, in Uniforms!
Jays - Marlins blockbuster trade!! Franchise changing!! Josh Johnson and Mark Buehrle with Ricky Ro!!
Yunel and Adeiny gone, no like .. Jose Reyes well that’s a nice replacement!
New Beast in the East
The Blue Jays could trade catcher JP Arencibia or some of their depth at starting pitcher, but even if they don’t make another move during the offseason they look formidable going into next season. Here is a look at their potential 2013 opening day lineup and starting rotation:
SS - Jose Reyes
CF - Colby Rasmus or Emilio Bonifacio
RF - Jose Bautista
DH - Edwin Encarnacion
1B - Adam Lind
3B - Brett Lawrie
C - Travis d’Arnaud or John Buck
LF - Rajai Davis
2B - Maicer IzturisRotation:
Josh Johnson, RHP
Mark Buehrle, LHP
Brandon Morrow, RHP
Ricky Romero, LHP
Kyle Drabek (RHP)/Drew Hutchinson (RHP)/JA Happ (LHP)/Aaron Laffey (LHP)The Blue Jays still need to hire a new manager, but whoever gets the call (Manny Acta? Sandy Alomar Jr.? Dave Martinez?) is going to have a beast of a team. Somewhere John Farrell and Tito Francona are kicking themselves.
Meanwhile the Yankees may want to rethink their plans to lower payroll below the luxury tax line, and the Red Sox just became the red-headed stepchild of the division.

Oh my gawd look at that rotation! Remember what happened last time we had a blockbuster!!

Lunchbox 45 Travis Snider may have left T.O., but that won’t stop me from rooting for my favorite Jays #1 potential prospect of the 2010s. I mean I still mark out for Halladay…
As a Pirate … umm insert dumb sports anchor cliche about stolen treasure or loot or something. Basically Trav goes up the fence and miraculously takes a homerun away.

Bautista hits his major league 25th homerun and Jays record 13th in a month completely outside of Fenway Park making a dent into some Masshole’s gas guzzler.
Jason Hammel is an idiot. In 3 months we won’t even know who he is .. again.
I don’t think you can take swings like that, not knowing they’re coming. There’s rumours and things like that, I don’t know. I can’t speak on that but they were taking very, very strong hacks on breaking stuff. It’s something I’ve never seen before.
4 homers on 4 fastballs. Shaddup douchey OriLOLe.
